I get asked lots of questions about bouncing. Here are some of those questions…
Can the kids jump alone?
- Sir Bounce-a-Lot Jumping Castles MUST be supervised by a responsible adult at all times during operation. (The person MUST be over 18 years of age.)
Are their any rules we need to follow?
- All shoes, eyewear and any sharp objects MUST be removed before entering the castle.
- No food, drinks, chewing gum or sticky liquids allowed.
- Individuals with head, neck, back or other muscular/skeletal injuries or disabilities, pregnant women, and small infants SHOULD NOT use this inflatable.
- EXIT if the unit begins to lose air.
What happens if the weather turns a bit nasty on the day?
- In the event of strong winds and/or severe weather, we advise that you DO NOT use the castle, and immediately deflate it by turning off the blower after children have exited.
- When the weather has passed, the blower can be switched back on, and the castle will be inflated again in two minutes.
Is there a weight limit? Can mum or dad get on the castle with the kids?
- Castles can hold up to 360 kgs, so depending on size, you can have up to 9-10 little children on the castle at a time.
- Of course, mum or dad might feel like hopping on to join the fun, but should stick to “pretend” bouncing, as riders should all be of compatible age and size in general, thereby avoiding “double-jumping” any of the children.
What surface can the castle be installed on?
- Castles can be installed on pretty much any flat surface (grass, paving, indoors in a hall, etc), and we protect the castles by placing a tarpaulin on the surface.
- Please let us know the details of the surface when you book, including any potential difficulties, as it will determine whether we secure the castle with pegs or sandbags.
